Health & Safety / Quality Control Coordinator

Salary: Competitive- DOE Per Year

In partnership with our client who is a global manufacturing company we are looking for an experienced Health & Safety / Quality Control Coordinator. 

H & S Responsibilities:
Full support of the safety program and the implementation of corporate and local health and safety policies and practices
Cover areas of fire safety, occupational health, and noise, safe use of machinery and control of hazardous substances.
H & S Key tasks:
Implementing and developing effective policies and procedures
Regular inspections and risk assessments
Keeping accident records
Advising on PPE
Training staff on safety issues
Investigating accidents and recommending improvements in safety standards
Report writing

QC Responsibilities:
Will revolve around ensuring that all process material & components meet customer quality requirements,

 QC Key tasks:
Work In Progress and Final Inspection
Regular use of all routine inspection equipment
Control of all calibration
Submissions of inspection reports along with supporting documentation and FMEA

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Min 3 years H&S experience in a manufacturing  environment  
Possess (or be prepared to pursue further H & S training if required ie NEBOSH)
QC Aerospace industry experience in submissions of reports supporting documentation and FMEA Knowledge of Quality Control Technology or pc-dmis software would be an advantage
