Hours: 37.5 per week
Our client is an expanding manufacturing company which specialise in the development and production of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Systems. On their behalf TRF Technical are recruiting for a Bench / Electronics Technician to join their team in Heywood.
The purpose of this role is to build, test and repair the electronic components to a completed product for their range of ANPR.
Working closely with a team of engineers the successful candidate will ideally have a relevant electronics apprenticeship or equivalent and have previous experience working in an engineering / electronics environment.
Key duties & responsibilities
building a range of ANPR Camera systems
testing finished product
ensuring stock levels are sufficient for the build schedules
finding and fixing equipment faults.
testing prototype products and analysing the results
Skills & Qualities required
To be successful in the roll you should have:
a good work ethic and ability to build to exacting specifications
practical skills including use of workshop tools and equipment
good communication skills
IT skills including Networking
the ability to understand engineering drawings and principles
a willingness to keep up to date with new developments
excellent problem-solving skills
a good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and an ability to learn new program operation systems is required.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and this role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, along with excellent opportunities to develop and learn new skills.
