Opportunity to volunteer for the Hamari Jarain

The Heritage volunteers will be trained to research the many different cultures and traditions in the Milkstone and Deeplish area.

You will help identify people in the community who have a story to tell and conduct interviews/record their stories as well as get involved in setting up events and workshops.

Due to the diversity of the area i would encourage anyone who can speak Urdu,Punjabi or Gujarati.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Salma on 01706 646678 or Julia on 07739 899503. Alternatively, you can email Julia.glover@svha.co.uk
