Successful Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Amy Wordsworth, founder of ‘Good Bubble’, the UK and Ireland’s first range of ‘superfruit’ natural bath and hair products for children, will be the guest speaker at Springhill Hospice’s next Business Buddies Big Breakfast.

Amy will talk about her business and experience of coming through the Dragon’s Den to an audience of local business representatives at the Hospice on Wednesday, 22 November. She appeared on Dragon’s Den in Series 13, episode 6, after overcoming a dizzy spell in the grilling, Amy came back fighting and went on to secure a £60,000 investment from Dragon Deborah Meaden.

Amy combined her skills and experience in marketing with a background in the soap making industry where her family, in their Manchester-based factory, have over 30 years’ experience. Good Bubble was launched in April 2014 with the mission to ‘make safer, happier bath times for families.’

Corporate Business and Events Co-ordinator at Springhill Hospice, Sophie Ansley said: “We are very excited to welcome Amy to our pre-Christmas Big Breakfast event. This is a great opportunity to hear from someone with experience of bringing an innovative new product to market.”

The programme will also include a presentation from Danny Simpson, Chief Executive of MID Communications, a franchise of O2, and Danny will be passing on his top tips to businesses on building relationships and networking.

Springhill Hospice’s Business Buddies scheme provides a unique opportunity to build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships to develop corporate support and generate sustainable income and relationships with the local community. It helps to promote businesses through a series of regular networking events and provides a platform for partnership working.
