Details:

This event is primarily aimed at organisations and individuals that work with children and young people, in a voluntary or paid capacity who are not regulated by any governing body and are not required to adhere to national standards or codes of practice.

By attending this event you will:

  • Meet Rochdale's Local Authority Designated Officer and learn about her role.

  • Learn about Rochdale's 'Safe After School' campaign which raises awareness of child safeguarding and the reasons why even very small organisations need to apply safer working practices within everything they do.

  • Understand how you can make sure that your provision meets best practice standards

  • Network with other unregulated providers

  • Know where to go for further help and advice

  • Get a discount voucher for Allegations Management and Safer Working Practices half day training
