Gracie Fields Forties Family Fun Day

Come and Join us at the Gracie Fields Forties Family Fun Day!

From 10am, there will be lots of things going on for all the family, young and old alike;

Children’s funfair, Rifle range, Owl sanctuary display, Military vehicle display, an opportunity to throw wet sponges at local Councillors, crafts, cakes, food and drink, 40s memorabilia, Gracie Fields memorabilia and a “Dig for Victory” / garden design advice stalls.

A dancing exhibition will occur by the Back-Step Boogie Club between 11am – 12noon.

At 3.00pm, we have a Spitfire from the Battle of Britian Memorial Flight making 3 low passes over the Cricket Club.

The day culminates in a Wartime Dinner Dance and Raffle from 7.30 pm - 12.00 midnight, the tickets for which are only £15. This includes dancing to the Little Jazz Funk Band and a meat & potato / cheese & onion pie and pea supper.

There will also be prizes for best fancy dress!
