The Friends of St. Edmund’s are proud to present 'The Northern Baroque Orchestra'.

For their spring concert in what is the anniversary year of the Churches Conservation Trust, who celebrate 50 years since their founding this year, join us for the first event of 2019.

For this wonderful afternoon of music conducted by Paul Witkiewicz, The Northern Baroque Orchestra will be led by Poppy Weatherall in an afternoon of period music. Accompanying the Orchestra will be flautist Alistair Roberts, playing two flute concertos by Boccherini & Pergolesi.

Other pieces included are by Teleman, Fasch, Handel, Corelli and Stanley, as well as ever the popular Pachelbel, Canon and Gigue. 

Please join us for what will be a wonderful afternoon of music in the beautiful Grade 1 listed setting of St. Edmund’s Church.

Refreshments will be available at intermission.

Please note there are steps to the church - assistance is available if required, please see one of the guides. There is also on street parking.
