Come along to the library for a free, informal "iTea and Biscuits" morning!
According to statistics, 6.4 million people over 65 in the UK have never used the internet and may be missing out on the social, financial and educational benefits that information technology (IT) can provide. If you think you may be one of them, why not come along to our "iTea and Biscuits" drop-in session.
As well as refreshments, there'll be someone to give you a taste of what's on the Web, together with advice leaflets on topics from internet security to buying your first computer.
There'll also be the opportunity to find out more about Myguide, a free introductory computer course for complete beginners available at the library.
If you've been meaning to find out more about the internet but haven't known where to start this is the ideal opportunity and, of course, it's free!
This is part of Age UK's national campaign to help older people develop the skills and confidence to get online.
