Events in Rochdale for 26/07/2009

Saturday 25 July there is a car boot sale at Springfield Park. Sunday 26 July is Castleton Carnival parading from Castleton to Springfield Park.

In conjunction with the Castleton Carnival. Prizes for the Best Dressed Teddy Bear, plus colouring competition for the under 5's and the over 5's. There will be face painting, balloon modelling, a raffle and small exhibition of the Vision Plan for the future of Springfield Park, with the opportunity for you to put forward your ideas for the park.

Our summer exhibition is the Canals of the Pennines, during July and August we will have an ever changing exhibiton of work by a number of popular artisits, including Geoff Butterworth, David Ainsworth and Judith Herring - plus some new artists. The preview will be on Saturday 4th July from 2-4pm.
