Multi award winning stand up comic John Bishop will appear at the Middleton Arena next year during his UK tour.
The star of television shows including ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’ and ‘8 out of 10 cats’ will be on stage at the arena on Friday 30 April. His acclaimed live show entitled ‘Elvis has left the building’ was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award this summer, and he’s a former City Life Comedian of the Year.
In recent months the popular Liverpudlian has attracted more teenage fans after starring in the hugely successful E4/Channel 4 series 'Skins'.
John Bishop’s ability to keep the laughs coming with his unique brand of observational humour, undeniable charm and gift of creating a relaxed atmosphere have made him one of the fastest rising stand ups in the country.
The tour – his biggest ever, is already selling out at venues across the country. Tickets (£15) for his Middleton Arena date go on sale at 10am on Saturday 5 December
