Members Bekki Baines, David Butterworth and Paul Parker will be playing for the last time before leaving to go to college when the Rochdale Light Orchestra meets to perform mostly light-hearted music under the concert heading ‘Summertime Serenade’.

Bekki has been the orchestra’s Leader for the last two years. David plays the horn, and Paul the trumpet. During the concert, which will include music by Gershwin, Saint-Sæns and Sousa with titles like “Puffin’ Billy”, “Vanity Fair” and “The Glow Worm”, they will each be featured in a solo spot.
