Rochdale residents are being invited to take a look around their new state-of-the-art heath centre in Wardleworth and Hamer… and get a free health check while they’re there!

A fun-packed open day is being held from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 27th March at the new centre on Belfield Road. It will give many people the chance to see the modern facilities that are now available on their doorstep.

Visitors will be able to get their groove on with dance mat competitions as well as getting fit with rowing and bike races, with the support of Rochdale Borough-wide Cultural Trust; Link4Life.

The new £8.4m centre, which has a focus on children’s services, opened to patients in January. The centre houses a wide range of services as well as relocating Dr Ko’s dental practice and Dr Babar’s GP surgery from Baillie Street health centre.
