St Andrew's, Dearnley have their biggest event on their annual social calendar coming up on Saturday, April 28 when they stage their St George's Night.
Wardle Anderson Brass will lead the patriotic pomp and ceremony - who better? -- and Lords of Whitworth will do the catering which will take the form of potato pie with a vegetarian option.
Doors open at 6.30pm for 7pm and tickets, £10, are available from Ada on 07854 703 426.
