The meeting is organised by BOLD (Building Our Local Community).

We want to explore various aspects affecting Integration locally and nationally.

What are the facts? What are the myths? Institutional racism. Our young. Looking at the way forward to a truly 'United' Kingdom.

Featuring a number of speakers including the Chair of BAPA (Black and Asian Police Association).

There will time for questions, debate and a search for solutions.

Please note: The emphasis is on informed debate but looking for consensus where possible. There is no point attending if you do not want to improve integration within our communities. 'Fake news' and biased reporting often distorts issues.

To quote: "The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses.'

BOLD is a local group based in Middleton who believe in a more open democracy where the 'masses' can be heard. Anyone is welcome, provided they respect others and their views. We are non-politically aligned.
