Annual Freehold Street Festival - Mela - a big family gathering to enjoy food and drinks, ice cream, toy stalls, mehndi, face painting, pony rides, clowns, magic show, morris dancers and many more stalls.

Featuring Nazami Brothers Qawal & Party, Bashir's Dhol, Gary Gore Fun Fair, Carnival Queens, Anwar Shad, Circus, Rochdale Music Service and GMP Brass Band.

If you would like to contribute to this Mela, please kindly donate gifts, foods, books, and any jumble for the stalls.

Rochdale's Mayor and Mayoress, MP Tony Lloyd, councillors and other distinguished guests will be attending.
