Ambassador Badges Vote
Your chance to choose the designs for Town Centre Ambassador Badges
Over the last 2 weeks, Rochdale and Middleton town centre workers have been training to be Ambassadors for their towns. Parking Attendants, PCSOs, Business Owners, Town Centre Management staff, shop assistants, local media reporters and many more were specially chosen to take part in this pilot scheme which will officially launch next month.
Graphic Design students from Hopwood Hall were asked to come up with some designs for badges that will be worn by the Ambassadors in Rochdale and Middleton.
Rochdale Online readers now have the chance to vote for their favourite Rochdale and Middleton badges. The winning students will receive the honour of having their designs made into badges and also window stickers that will be displayed around the town centres.

Tim Nuttall, Tourism Officer for Rochdale Council said “Training for the new Town Centre Ambassador scheme has gone really well. The Ambassadors are raring to go, but we need a logo for them to wear. Hopwood Hall students have given us some great designs, and with the final choice being made by readers the scheme will get off to a tremendous start.”
