Peacock Room and The Royal Toby restaurants awarded Certificates of Excellence

Date published: 16 June 2016

The Peacock Room and The Royal Toby restaurants have been awarded Certificates of Excellence by TripAdvisor.

To qualify for the certificates, the restaurant must maintain an overall rating of at least four out of five stars for more than 12 months.

General Manager at The Royal Toby Danny Tujeshyn said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been awarded another certificate of excellence. We really do care what our guests think of our restaurant. We reply to all TripAdvisor reviews, good, bad or indifferent, and we discuss our guests’ opinions in weekly management meetings. This helps my team to keep constantly evaluating how we operate as a business, the level of service we provide and the quality of the food we serve.”

General Manager at The Peacock Room Gaynor Walton added: “Our entire team is thrilled to have achieved this award from TripAdvisor. We work hard not just to be known for our outstanding food, but to deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for our all of our customers.”

The Peacock Room also has two AA rosettes and a Michelin Guide Knife and Fork award. With new head chef Dave Broderick at the helm, The Peacock Room focuses on fine dining in a decadent art deco setting.

The Royal Toby restaurant provides excellent quality classic traditional British food in a grand former ball room.

Both restaurants are owned by the Deckers group, which owns a number of hotels and restaurants along the Pennine foothills.
