Wireless CCTV pledges Hospice three-year support

Date published: 07 November 2016

Staff at Wireless CCTV have nominated Springhill Hospice as their charity for the next three years as part of a company-wide commitment to support for the local community.

Fundraising has got off to a flying start with over £2,600 being raised from the first event, the recent Gauntlet Games at Heaton Park.

Managing Director, David Gilbertson said: “We are proud to be based here in Rochdale and as a company we believe it is very important to give something back to the local community. We are delighted to give this three year commitment to the Hospice and look forward to playing our part in helping to continue the good work they do.”

Julie Halliwell, Chief Executive at Springhill Hospice, said: “To make this level of commitment is absolutely overwhelming. On behalf of our patients, their families and carers I cannot thank everyone at WCCTV enough. We very much look forward to supporting them in their fundraising endeavours.”

The Rochdale-based company is a leading suppliers of mobile surveillance systems and site security. Winner of the 2015 Rochdale Business Awards, taking the trophy for business of the year with a turnover of over £5 million, WCCTV has, in the last year, expanded into their new global headquarters on Kingsway Business Park and continues to develop its operation in the UK and United States.
