Free promotional space up for grabs at Rochdale Exchange

Date published: 24 November 2016

Local traders taking part in the town’s small business market on Saturday 3 December will be given the chance to win free promotional space at a Rochdale Exchange shopping centre.

‘Rochdale Loves Small Business’ will see 30 local retailers in the shopping centre as part of a special market between 9am and 5pm.

Lorenzo O’Reilly, Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre manager, said he is looking forward to supporting the town’s businesses during Small Business Saturday. He said: “There are some amazing independent traders in and around Rochdale and we are really proud to be able to offer them a fantastic platform at our market for small businesses.

“To continue our support for local retailers, we will also be offering one lucky market seller three months’ worth of free space at Rochdale Exchange to promote their services and products to our shoppers.”

Mark Foxley, Rochdale’s town centre manager, and Ruth Pringle, who is organising the event and recently received an award from the Federation of Small Businesses, will join Mr O'Reilly in choosing which market retailer will benefit from the free promotional space.

Rochdale’s small business market will be open at Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre from 9am to 5pm.

Applications (form below) must be in by Monday (28 November).
