Kia approved wins car dealer’s ‘manufacturers used car scheme’

Date published: 02 December 2016

Kia’s Approved Used Scheme, available Premier Kia in Rochdale, has won the top award at Car Dealer magazine’s Used Car Awards for providing customers with the best peace of mind in the market.

First launched in 2010, and with over 45,000 used approved cars sold, the now multi-award-winning Kia Used Approved Programme has been a huge success for Kia.

David Bird, sales director at Premier Kia, said: “We are very proud to be a Kia Approved Used dealer. It just goes to show that the Kia programme available at Premier Kia gives used car buyers the same peace-of-mind as new car buyers with all of our used approved Kia cars having the warranty reinstated – a first in the industry.”

TV’s Wheeler-Dealer Mike Brewer, who presented the award, said: ”Peace of mind is so important to people when they are buying a used car. Buying new means there are plenty of safety nets provided which isn’t always the way in the second-hand market. That’s why a good manufacturer used car scheme is so important – and why this particular award is so fiercely contested.”

He went on to say: “At a time when the majority of used car schemes offer the same level of cover, this manufacturer stands head and shoulders above the rest. Others have been trying to catch up but our winner remains out in front.”
