Blue Rose voted in top five greeting card retailers

Date published: 17 July 2017

Blue Rose Gifts and Balloons in Heywood has been voted as a top five greetings card retailer in the North of England.

The awards, known as the RETAS, recognise retailers who have shown excellence in all areas across the retail spectrum, including range of products stocked, customer service offered, shop environment, marketing and competitive edge.

From thousands of shops across the region, Blue Rose was shortlisted as a finalist, the first time a Heywood retailer has ever reached this stage.

Beverley Heyworth, the owner, said: “This is a fantastic achievement. To be recognised as a one of the top five card shops is something special.

"It would, of course have been nice to win the top award, but myself and my team will continue to strive to offer our customers in Heywood the best possible service.

"The award is recognition that as an independent trader, we at Blue Rose put the customer and our town at the heart of everything we do.

“We will continue to serve the people of Heywood, we aim to offer more goods and more services and hopefully, if we are fortunate enough to again be nominated, bring the top prize home for both our customers and town next year.”
