Aquacheck Engineering wins award as the top supplier to Severn Trent Water

Date published: 07 December 2017

Aquacheck Engineering, a supplier of precision-engineered components for the water industry, has been named the top supplier to Severn Trent Water.

Paul Carrington, managing director, said: “The team had a great evening at the awards.

“It is great to know that the work we do for Severn Trent Water is recognised by those we work with directly and the senior management.

"Being one of the three businesses nominated was an unexpected honour, but winning the award was the icing on the cake. It is great to know that we are considered the best.”

Ian Mitchell, Fittings & Regulations Manager, Severn Trent Water: “If I was to use one word to describe the benefit of working with a SME like Aquacheck Engineering, it would be ‘adaptability’. They have been in the industry for years and know the challenges on the investment front. They listen to our issue and translated it into a working piece of kit, ready for trial, within a couple of weeks. Larger companies find it more difficult to be so responsive.”

Water Services Manager for Aquacheck, Anthony Britland, said: “We have worked with Severn Trent Water for a number of years, and over that time have been able to solve operational problems, improve working efficiency or reduce costs by developing and manufacturing bespoke items.”
