Nisa on Smith Street
A new Nisa supermarket opened on Smith Street in Rochdale centre on Monday (25 June).
The store occupies the former MyLocal and Morrisons store, which closed following the Boxing Day floods.
Councillor John Blundell, cabinet member for regeneration at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “We are proud to support the opening of yet another new business in Rochdale town centre, which will bring more jobs and investment.”
Forming in 1977 with 30 stores, Nisa now has over 40 years of history in local convenience retail. Today there are over 2,500 local independently owned stores across the UK.
