RRG Rochdale partners with Pudsey Bear

Date published: 22 May 2012

Local Peugeot dealership, RRG Rochdale, has pledged its support to BBC’s Children in Need, the official charity partner for Peugeot in 2012.

The dealership, based on Edinburgh Way, will be helping to raise vital funds for Pudsey and co alongside the rest of the 250 Peugeot dealers across the country, culminating in the live telethon on Friday 16 November 2012.

The official partnership with the well-loved charity, that helps disadvantaged children across the UK, will see the team at RRG Rochdale holding a series of fun activities throughout the year, ranging from silly stunts, sports events and involving local schools in the area.

Children in Need funds over 2,500 projects across the country and supports causes in the local community in Rochdale.

Mike Knowles, aftersales manager at RRG Rochdale, said: “The partnership between Peugeot UK and Children in Need is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a truly worthwhile cause and help disadvantaged children and young people.

“We’ll be taking our fundraising very seriously but I’m sure we’ll have lots of fun along the way. The whole team is raring to go and we’d love our loyal customers in Rochdale to visit the dealership and support the team, to help raise as much money for Children in Need as possible.”

Peugeot UK is an official charity partner of Children in Need.

RRG Rochdale will be fundraising throughout 2012 to help Peugeot reach its target of £750,000 for the charity.
