Staff from James Nuttall Transport have raised over £3,000 for Springhill Hospice over the past few months.
Staff took part in the ‘Hospice to Hospice Walk’ in April, and six members of their team took part in the BUPA 10k run in May.
James Nuttall Transport decided to take part in these fundraising events after Pam Gibson, a key member of their team, sadly died at the Hospice in January.
The company have now pledged to support Springhill Hospice every year.
Lillie Winterbottom, Community Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice said: “Everyone at James Nuttall Transport has shown such fantastic support for the Hospice.
“Those who didn’t take on the BUPA 10k braved the 7¼ miles ‘Hospice to Hospice’ walk.
"Their fundraising has been fantastic, having raised over £3,000 and still rising.
“We can’t thank them enough.”
