Rochdale Online Business Exhibition

Date published: 16 September 2014

The Rochdale Online Business Exhibition will take place on Wednesday 24 September in the Great Hall of Rochdale Town Hall.

This year’s exhibition will see over 40 local businesses display and demonstrate their services to members of the public as well as providing opportunities for businesses to network with one another.

Businesses signed up to exhibit this year include everything from solicitors to carpet factories to photographers and even Reiki.

Julie Harris-Webb, manager of Littleborough Business Centre, said: “We are really looking forward to it.”

Frank Hauxwell from The Rotary Club added: “Too good to miss.”

Returning businesses to the exhibition are also looking forward to this year’s event after the success of previous exhibitions.

Derek Dixon from CLIK Fire and Security Ltd said: “We got a fantastic deal out of the last exhibition. We’re looking forward to this one.”

Speaking of previous exhibitions, Howard Wilkinson from Howard Wilkinson Photography said: “I felt the Business Exhibition was a great opportunity to network with other Rochdale businesses and to see some of what is on offer from people within the town.”

Councillors James and Jane Gartside have confirmed their attendance after having attended all of the previous exhibitions. Councillor James Gartside said: “I shall enjoy attending. I think we have both been to every one.”

This year those attending the exhibition and those involved with the exhibition can get involved on Twitter by using the hashtag

#rochbizex

Rochdale Online will be tweeting during the build up to the exhibition and throughout the day. Those who want to tweet should let everyone know about the exhibition by using the hashtag.

The event will be open to the public between 4pm and 7pm.
