Saima Mazhar joins AST Hampsons

Date published: 11 February 2015

Saima Mazhar has joined AST Hampsons to work in the clinical negligence department.

Saima, who qualified as a solicitor in April 2005, joined the Rochdale based firm after deciding she wanted to work locally.

She said: “I am from Oldham so I thought with Rochdale not being too far that it would be a good job to do and would give me the chance to work in the community, which is something that I wanted to get back into doing.”

Having previously worked with claimants for a PI company for five years and as a defendant expect for seven years, Saima decided that now was the right time to head back to claimant work.

“This is where I always envisioned my career ending up and having done both claimant and defendant work, I thought it was time to go back to claimant work,” added Saima.

Saima will be located at the South Parade offices in Rochdale Town Centre and will be working alongside Louise Wilcox on some life changing cases.

Saima added: “I have only been here for two weeks but I feel like I’ve really settled in. Everyone is really nice and they have all welcomed me. AST Hampsons has a really good reputation and Louise knows exactly what she wants and always has the client’s best interests at heart.”

Saima hopes to continue with AST Hampsons for the remainder of her law career.

She said: “Now that I am here, I hope to be here until my law career ends.”
