Date published: 02 September 2015

Laura Heywood, the Managing Director of Rochdale based company Kleen Strike, has been named in a list of the most influential women in the global printing consumables industry.

Ms Heywood, a trade association leader, was placed at number thirteen in the list, for her work that has made a difference to the industry.

Kleen Strike markets itself as being able to provide a cost effective alternative when it comes to remanufacturing printer cartridges and has been established for 32 years.

Ms Heywood was the only woman from the UK included on the list along with scientists, CEOs, publishers and marketers.

The list was put together by global news organisation RT Media to celebrate Women’s Equality Day.

Women’s Equality Day commemorates the granting of the vote to women throughout the United States on 26 August 1920, when the 19th Amendment was certified as law.
