Minky to rebrand entire range
Date published: 03 September 2015
Homecare manufacturer, Minky, based in Rochdale, has announced it is re-branding its range of branded homewares this autumn supported by a nationwide marketing campaign.
The new branding is clean and modern with a sense of quality that stretches across all product categories, whilst representing the brand’s key messages.
Minky holds two Royal Warrants and prides itself on its UK heritage. 80% of Minky products are designed, patented and engineered in the UK by the in-house product design team.
The first stage of the re-branding campaign will begin in September 2015. Minky indoor laundry products, ironing boards, covers, airers and accessories will adopt the new identity and be rolled out in to all Minky stockists, including ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Homebase and Argos.
Carol Devins, marketing manager at Minky, said: “Over the past decade we have transitioned from a manufacturer with a small amount of branded lines to a brand focused business with a strong presence in a much larger number of areas.
"We felt the logo and packaging design needed to be updated to better represent the brand values and the quality of our products.
"We have retained elements from previous logos for continuity purposes and the recognisable new design, style and colour palette will engage customers, whilst still getting the fundamental key product features across.”
Minky is the UK’s leading homewares and laundry manufacturer, offering a wide range of laundry and cleaning equipment for the home.
