Conference Business Forum

Date article online: 14/05/2008

A Conference Business Forum is being organised as a key part of the Labour Party Annual Conference, which will this year be taking place in Manchester from 20 - 24 September.

The Forum, which is held annually around the conference, provides local and national businesses with an opportunity to network at conference with corporate clients/contacts and political figures. It is also a valuable opportunity to discuss current issues affecting business with ministers from key government departments.

The forum will take place over the two main days of conference (Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 September). The first day will be held outside the secure zone and will consist of a welcome lunch with speaker, two seminars (one round table discussion and one question and answer) and business reception.

The second day will be held inside the secure zone and will consist of a business breakfast with speaker, one seminar (round table discussion), lunch, reserved seats to listen to the Leader's speech and ticket to the Conference dinner. The Day 1 forum passes are priced at £500 + VAT and the Day 2 passes are priced at £1,750 + VAT

Chamber of Commerce members are being offered a £50 discount on the price of passes to the Forum. For more information contact Helen Naylor on 020 7783 1377.
