Campaign to stamp out software piracy
Date published: 14/05/2008
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) is launching a six-week campaign to stamp out software piracy in Greater Manchester.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of software piracy and educate companies about the associated risks, both to their business and the local economy.
Organisations are being advised to carefully audit all the software installed on company-owned PCs, devices and networks to check that software is fully licensed according to the licence agreements they hold.

If you receive any communication such as a questionnaire from the BSA, we advise you to complete it and return it to the BSA as fully and as accurately as possible. Members with any doubts may wish to discuss the matter with their solicitor.
