Hornets drawn to play Leigh in Tetleys Challenge Cup Round 4

Rochdale Hornets were drawn to play Leigh Centurions in the fourth round of the 2014 Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

The draw took place at Quay House, MediaCityUK on Tuesday 18 March. Rochdale Hornets were ball number 22, coincidently the year in which Hornets won the trophy, and were drawn at home against Leigh.

The fourth round sees the entry of the 14 First Utility Super League clubs, who join the 18 winners of the weekend’s third round ties in a competition that will climax with the 2014 Tetley’s Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 23 August.

The ties are due to be played on the weekend 5/6 April and Rochdale AFC at home on the Saturday, the game is likely to be played on Sunday 6 April, with a kick off time of 2pm to allow the fixture to be completed in time for the Round 5 draw, to be broadcast following a live broadcast fixture on the BBC.
