The first recipients of the Rochdale Hornets Time Served Member honours were announced at the recent Rochdale Hornets members meeting.

Brian Belfield, Jon Bramall and Richard Hobson were recognised for their contribution to the club's lottery as well as assisting in setting up for match days on Friday afternoons.

Newly appointed board member Luke Harrison along with Glenn Kershaw were thanked for their efforts in designing and printing the new 1871 programme.

Dave Scott completed four hours of general cleaning and maintenance at Mossway to qualify.

At this weekend’s game, the following people received their ‘badge of honour’:

  • Peter Walker (manning the hospitality desk)
  • Neil Bruckshaw (historical research)
  • Jim Stringer (various including heritage, match day PA)
  • David Bulcock (board and car park/shop)
  • Lynda Falstaff (car park/shop)

  • Wendy Hamer (board and transport/party)
  • Julie Clarke (board and tannoy)
  • Walter Tann (board & medical)

Time served members are the people who as well as paying their membership to become owners of the club they also give at least four hours of their time voluntarily to support the Rochdale Hornets in whatever way they can.

Time served members get a ‘badge of honour’ as a thank you to the effort they put into helping their club function.
