At BMI The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale we’re here to help you get back on your feet with our General Medical Admissions service, providing you with investigation, diagnosis and treatment all from the comfort of your own private room.

Should you require immediate medical attention, the General Medical Admissions service allows you to be admitted for a short term stay at the hospital, where you will receive rapid assessment and fast track diagnostic tests as per the requirements of your condition.

It couldn’t be easier to refer to the General Medical Admissions service, you can either ask your GP to contact us, your residential care home, or you can call us directly on the dedicated number. If your case is suitable, we’ll get you admitted under the care of the appropriate consultant as soon as we can.

We have extensive clinical services including pharmacy, physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging all on site, your private room comes fully equipped with an en-suite bathroom, television and free wi-fi, and three delicious meals will be brought to you every day.

A stay with us really is a home from home. We can diagnose and treat a number of conditions on site, or we can assist you on the road to recovery following an illness.

The General Medical Admissions service is available to both self-funding and insured patients. If you are insured, our pre-authorisation team will liaise directly with you and your insurers, keeping you informed of any charges throughout and ensuring your peace of mind. If you are self-funding, a £3,000 deposit is required prior to admission. Ask us about our BMI Card*, which is 0% APR for the first 12 months.
