At Pennine Training, we have a wide range of driver training courses. From a car with a trailer or horse box right through to large, articulated lorries with trailers – we’ve got it covered.

Our team of dedicated instructors are there, every step of the way, to help you succeed. They understand the business and will work with you one-to-one in order to give you the advice, training and knowledge you need for the career you want.

Our training is always developed around you – work around work or life commitments and choose a training centre at a place convenient for you. We can help students train in under a week.

New LGV drivers must meet the standards of health and fitness set in place by the European Union. Prior to taking a course you must arrange a medical examination with your doctor, however, no medical is required for attendees on car and trailer or minibus courses and there is no theory test.

We offer a free assessment lesson so that we can tailor our training to your requirements. 

Our courses: 

• Theory training
• Cat C1 Training: For drivers of vehicles 3500Kgs to 7500 Kgs including a trailer with a gross weight no greater than 750Kgs
• Driver CPC: Applies to all drivers, driving any vehicle greater than 3500Kgs or 8 seats PSV for Hire and Reward
• Cat C training: This applies to drivers of any rigid Vehicle from 3500Kgs with no upper weight limit
• Cat C + E training: Articulated vehicles with trailers over 750Kgs
