Become a ghost hunter at Rochdale Exchange this Halloween

Date published: 21 October 2016

Shoppers are set to experience a spooktacular Halloween on Saturday 29 October next week as the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre hosts its frightfully fun ghost busting-themed event.

**This event has had to be moved to Saturday 29th October.**

Parents and their children will be in with a chance to join the ‘Halloween Ghost Busting’ squad when they head to Rochdale Exchange to tackle a ghoul invasion.

Between 11am and 4pm, mini ghost hunters will be able to enjoy free Halloween activities, including pumpkin carving, face painting, balloon modelling and a themed photobooth.

Lorenzo O’Reilly, Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre manager, said he hopes to see lots of youngsters catching ghouls and ghosts at Rochdale Exchange.

“Our ‘Halloween Ghost Busting’ event is a great way to keep children busy during the half-term holidays,” he said.

“With Halloween proving to be continuingly popular, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to do something a little bit different to get people into the spirit this year.

“Throughout the day, the hunting squad will be patrolling the centre for mischievous ghouls, whilst shoppers enjoy carving pumpkins with one of three creepy designs and have their face painted as their favourite ghostly character. Plus, children will be able to take away Halloween balloons and free photos from the spooky photobooth.

“We look forward to seeing the town’s youngsters enjoying our brilliant half-term activity and we hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween.”
