Flying Horse Hotel fourth birthday and St George's Day celebration

Date published: 17 April 2015

The owners of the Flying Horse Hotel, on Packer Street in Rochdale Town Centre, are inviting people to celebrate their fourth birthday, and St George’s Day, with them on Thursday 23 April in what is being described as a ‘two birds with one sword’ celebration with double the excitement.

The day will start with deals on food (between 11:30am and 8:30pm) to celebrate our patron saint:

  • Lunchtime: 11:30am – 1:30pm
    Bagels in baskets
Any choice of bagel with filling with chips and dip. A soft drink or a coffee for £5.00

  • Teatime: 4:30pm – 8:30pm
    Traditional British bangers and mash
Choice of locally made sausage and mash with a pint of real British ale for £7.95

  • From 8:30pm
The pub will be celebrating its fourth anniversary in what is being labelled as ‘A Knight to remember’

Celebrations will include a free buffet; Bombardier will be £2.50 pint; entertainment by the local favourites ‘Boomin Band’ and surprises for guests.

Entry to the party is free.

Ben Boothman, Manager of the Flying Horse, said: “We just want to thank everyone for their support and custom over the past four years really. It’s been a hard few years but very enjoyable ones which we hope we can continue.

“Thursday is going to be a cracking day and night and really will be a double whammy of a celebration.”
