Letter: More unsung heroes

Thanks - Carer service for what they did for the most vulnerable
Firstly, I would to say thank you to everyone who rallied and rose to the occasion to assist all those who were stranded on the M62.
Milnrow and Newhey did the whole borough proud both locally and nationally and probably globally.
Truly the Dunkirk spirit.
However, I would also like to make a special mention for the team of carers and district nurses who tended to the vulnerable during the heavy snowfall, ensuring injections, medication, personal duties and food was delivered no matter what.
I would like to praise the Council carer service for the dedication and beyond the call of duty this past week for what they did for the most vulnerable.
