Darnhill Festival 2016
12.00pm - 5.00pm

The theme for this year’s Darnhill Festival is The Water Cycle, so expect a torrent of fun and games.
The procession will set off at 12 noon from Argyle Parade, followed by a full programme of entertainment and activities during the afternoon.
This year the festival will be visited by a Whale. Not just any whale mind you, this one is made of metal and swallows audiences one or two at a time for an unforgettable theatre experience.

Northern Baroque Orchestra Concert at St Aidan's Church, Sudden

An evening of mainly baroque music, including excerpts from Bach's Air on a G String plus music with Oboe soloist.

11.00am - 4.00pm

The World's Largest Working Steam Mill Engines - Victoria & Alexandra in steam
This month we welcome local band "The Scattering" and the MAD Theatre Company who will be performing a short comical play.
Free parking.
Light refreshments available at the Engine House Cafe.
Picnic area with seating.

Rochdale Hornets Family Fun Day
From 12noon

Children's rides and stalls as well as inflatables will be on offer.
Activities provided by the Hornets Sporting Foundation including the Wheelchair team. hosting relay races and a half back challenge.
Team Karting will be setting up a Go Kart Track.
Paintball/air soft range.
BBQ food and alcohol free cocktails from a tiki bar by The Flying Horse.
Rochdale Hornets v Keighley Cougars kicks off at 3.00pm.
There is no entry fee for the fun zone, match tickets can be purchased in advance on line for just £1 children.

Hollingworth Lake Craft Fair
11.30am - 3.30pm

Enhance your stroll around the lake with a visit to our craft fair. Plenty of stalls inside and out (weather permitting) plus cafe, play areas, exhibitions etc. Dogs welcome in the craft fair.
