The The Hair Gallery and The Clothing End bring glitz and glamour to cutting edge night of Hospice fundraising

Date published: 16 July 2016

Fun, fashion and fringes were the order of the day when two local businesses joined forces to host an evening of cutting edge glamour and style that raised over £1,800 for Springhill Hospice.

Bringing together a night of fashion, hair and make-up at a glittering champagne reception, the sell out event was organised by Kelly Earnshaw of The Hair Gallery in Littleborough and Asif Ali of Rochdale clothes boutique, The Clothing End.

Face jewels were among the latest looks being demonstrated with cosmetic tips and tasters from top professionals and a full catwalk show of up to the minute fashions.

Goody bags were given to all the lucky guests who could sit back for the night and enjoy being served by a team of 'buff butlers'.

The auction of two tickets to Beyonce’s Formation World Tour added to the excitement as well as the fundraising pot. The tickets went to the highest bidder - thanks to the generous donation by singing jeweller, John Alexander, an additional £250 to support ticket sales and a fantastic prize raffle.

Business owners Kelly and Asif said: “The evening was a tremendous success. It was a full house and everyone was really supportive.

"Thanks to everyone’s generosity £1,835 was raised for Springhill Hospice. We would like to thank everyone who helped, donated and supported us and who made the night happen.”

Adding her thanks, Springhill Hospice fundraiser Barbara Lloyd said: “The generous support from everyone for this fantastic evening is overwhelming.”
