Supporting South Asian people living with dementia launch at MAMC

A memory box, photo album, video and dementia awareness Urdu session to support South Asian people living with dementia was launched at the Multicultural Arts & Media Centre (MAMC) on Thursday.
The event attracted 60, inlcuding Councillor Cecil Biant, Councillor Allen Brett, Aashiyana Carers Group and community members.
Music was performed by Muskaan, Edi and ALPS from Rochdale Gateway Leisure.
Councillor Zaman, said: “Dementia and mental health affect our lives and especially our community. I am glad these programmes are running to benefit the community. I will do in my best to help the organisation.”
