Mayor of Rochdale welcomes the Welfare and Trade attaché at Pakistan Consulate
The Mayor of Rochdale, Ray Dutton, welcomed the newly appointed Welfare and Trade attaché at the Pakistan Consulate in Manchester.
Rochdale councillors Councillor Aasim Rashid, Councillor Mohammed Zaman, Councillor Allen Brett, Councillor Cecile Biant, Councillor Sultan Ali and Councillor Richard Farnell, along with community leaders, participated.
The Consul General of Pakistan and the Mayor of Rochdale said "the working relationships benefited the community".
Leader of the council, Councillor Richard Farnell said "we have to work together to solve the issues for Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Rochdale".
