Rochdale Christadelphians

Date published: 21 September 2016

This Sunday's Bible Hour is called ‘The Way to Peace’.

Peace, or rather the lack of it, is one of the problems with which politicians and world leaders are constantly confronted.

Various peace plans are proposed and endless peace talks take place, but the world is never without conflict.

Sometimes, as during this last week, fragile ceasefires only hold for a few days, before collapsing with tragic consequences.

It is clear that humans cannot solve these problems once and for all, and bring peace to the earth.

Rather we need to look to God to resolve these problems, and to His Son Jesus, who will soon return bringing peace: "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4.

This Bible Hour will take place at 4:30pm on Sunday 25 September.
Our Bible Class at 7:45pm on Tuesday 27 September, which will take the form of a question night.
