Giorgia Frost raises £200 for Variety The Children’s Charity

Date published: 21 October 2016

Miss Lancashire finalist Giorgia Frost has raised £200 for Variety The Children’s Charity as part of her entry in the pageant finals, which took place on Sunday (16 October).

Giorgia, from Castleton, said: “It was hard work at first after having raised so much for The British Skin Foundation.

“It was good to have raised that in such a short period of time and straight off the back of my fundraising for BSF, so I was really happy with it.”

She raised the funds through cake sales, odd jobs and exchanging artwork or tattoo designs for a small fee. Funds were also received through Just Giving.

Giorgia, 18, said: “I had a lot of fun on the day and had a really nice time. I spoke a bit of Spanish on stage during our speech, introducing who we were and what our eco outfit was. Mine was Brazilian based and definitely one of my favourite outfits and rounds. The other sections were also really good fun.”
