At the start of the new term six upper prep pupils have received their Ruby Awards.

From Year 4, Aamani Asif and Anais Aston. Harry Meekings, Dylan Gaucas and the Year 6 recipient was Anique Ali.

In the Senior Department Bronze Awards went to Ellie Jenkinson, Mia Greenwood, Re-becca Burnett, Nicole Healey, Daneyal Bajwa and Lucy Butterworth.

Alfie Mayer and Sophie Wilkinson were the lucky ones who attended the All4Sport Sen-ior Football Festival, and both really enjoyed the afternoon meeting new people and im-proving their football skills. Some passing activities were followed by drills to improve dribbling and shooting, before Sophie and Alfie put their newly learnt skills to the test in a 5-a-side match. Both were duly rewarded with a medal for the efforts, Sophie scored a goal and Alfie was a beast in net.

The Year 5 & 6 Indoor Athletics was a really fun event in which 14 students represented the school.

First up was the so called ‘field events’, which ranged from speed bounce to jumping tests, all students gave their all and worked up a real sweat.

Wendi Zhang out-threw a host of rivals to score ig point on the Chest Pass.

In the ‘track events’, Beech House’s best performances came in the short 1+1 relays.

Charlotte Tilley and Wendi Zhang ran for the girls, whilst Rico Bernales and Reuben Ra-saki ran for the boys - both finished in third place, which was a great effort.

This week’s House Point totals are:
