Year 8 Football

The Year 8 Boys Football Team won 8-0 against Matthew Moss in their penultimate league game of the season. Avoiding defeat in their final game will result in winning the league and promotion.

The Year 8 Boys Football team lost their Rochdale Schools Cup semi-final to a very strong Cardinal Langley side. Spencer Allen was the star performer for the team as he never gave up and worked tirelessly.

Year 10 Parents’ Evening

Year 10 Careers Fair

Year 10 Students recently attended a Careers Fair at Event City in Manchester. It was a fantastic experience for all involved with a great deal of insight and information gained.

One of the most popular stalls at the event was the ITV stand where Students were able to meet regional news presenter Tony Morris who discussed how to access a career in the media.

Another highlight for Students in addition to the many college and apprenticeship stalls was the special effects department who put on some amazing examples of their work, including sending ten of our Students back to school with various artificial scars and wounds which were so lifelike our first aid team didn’t know where to start
