Middleton Rotary buy a griddle for Middleton Cubs

Middleton Rotary has provided a gas griddle for 6th/15th Lancs FSE Cubs, Middleton based at St John Fisher Church.
Ann Dakin, Akela 6th/15th Lancs FSE Cubs, Middleton St John Fisher, said: “The Griddle is amazing and makes life so much easier for me doing the cub's cooking.
“100 fish fingers all cooked at the same time - that's some achievement at a camp.
“Our thanks go to Middleton Rotary for their support.”
Ged Heatherington, Past President of Middleton Rotary Club, said: “Funds raised from the annual Middleton Rotary Santa float collection have been put to great use.
“A request to assist with the purchase of a new gas griddle was received from Ann Dakin (Akela).
“The griddle was purchased and presented to the delighted Cubs and leaders.
“This was seen by the Rotary Club as an excellent way to support the Middleton community.”
