Great turnout and results at Boarshaw Clean Up
Local residents joined the Middleton in Bloom team to complete a litter pick around the Stanycliffe Community Centre.
The team also cleared on Stanycliffe Lane, round Tennyson Road and near the cemetery.
A total of eighteen bags of rubbish were collected plus a few other undesirable items.
Councillor Chris Furlong said: “There was a great turnout on Sunday for the Boarshaw clean-up."
The next Middleton in Bloom event is this Sunday with a Middleton Junction Mini makeover, which starts at 1.00pm at the Jumbo Centre.
