Norden bonfire and firework display 2016
Live music, Festival of Remembrance, bonfire and firework displays, African night, councillor advice surgeries, curryoke night and the small business bus - lots to do round the borough for all the family.
- Friday 3 November
Bonfire Night – St Michael’s Church, 7.00pm
Admission is by donation of a large firework, or donations of parkin or treacle to sell.
Rochdale Festival of Remembrance Concert – Rochdale Town Hall, 7.30pm
A concert performance by Retired Military Bands.
The Smiths Tribute (These Smiths) - Empire Rochdale, 8pm - 4am
Renowned as the closest sounding Manchester based tribute band to the real thing.
Bonfire and Fireworks Display – Syke Methodist Church, 6.0pm to 8.00pm
Treacle toffee, pies, black peas and drinks also available.
Rochdale Music Society present The Willshire Piano Duo – Heywood Civic Centre, 7.30pm
You must purchase a ticket.
Curryoke Night – Venus Lounge, Heywood, 7.00pm onwards
St. Christopher's Lourdes Group are holding a Curryoke night to raise funds to help young volunteers over to Lourdes in 2018.
Small Business Saturday Bus comes to Rochdale – Rochdale Town Hall, 10.00am till 2.00pm
The Small Business Saturday UK campaign, highlights business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ supporting small businesses in their communities.

Boomin - The Flying Horse Hotel, 8.00pm
Boomin only play the Flyer in Rochdale and have been doing so for 10 years!
Councillor John Blundell Local Advice Surgery – St Ann’s Church, 10am & Smallbridge Library, 11am
John is available to give advice, discuss local issues and listen to your ideas, on the first Saturday of each month.
Rochdale AFC v Bromley – Crown Oil Arena, 3.00pm kick off
The Main Stand, Sandy Lane and Willbutts Lane Stand will be open to home supporters. The Pearl Street stand will be closed on the day.
African Night – Castlemere Banqueting Hall, 5.00pm to 10.00pm
Organised by Freehold Community Group, you are invited to a free African Night.
Norden Cricket Club Bonfire – Norden Cricket Club, gates open 5.00pm
Huge Bonfire with over £3000 of fireworks on display as well as other attractions and food.
Rochdale Cricket Club Bonfire – Rochdale Sports Club, from 5.30pm
Music all night with the Vinyl Countdown - Jimmy Mush and Paul Thompson.
Littleborough Cricket Club Bonfire – Littleborough Cricket Club, from 4.00pm
In addition to the traditions of Bonfire evening we have arranged for a children's zone to include Stalls, Rides & designated Sparkler zone.
Middleton Cricket Club Bonfire – Middleton Cricket Club, 5.00pm
There will be handmade pizzas in a wood fired oven and Middleton's own Roberto Vergine will be selling paella, crepes and burgers. In the tea room there will be hot dogs, potato hash, black peas, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
U2 Tribute (New2) – Empire Rochdale, 8.00pm till 4.00am
Based in Bradford, UK, NEW2 have been together since 2002.

County Rats plus support act Joe Dunne - Empire Rochdale, 6pm - 2am
Free admission every weekend.
Middleton Craft and Food Market – Middleton Masonic Hall, 10.00am till 5.00pm
Sharing with you incredible handmade products that are not available on the High Street.
Ellenroad Engine House Open Day – Steam Museum, 11.00am till 4.00pm
This month we welcome back the West Pennine Wood Turners who will have a display and sale of their goods.
