- Remembrance Day Services:
Residents across the borough will have chance to pay their respects to those who have made sacrifices in defence of the country at this year’s Remembrance Services.
Commemorations will be held on Remembrance Sunday (12 November), with six parades across the borough.

Rochdale Gin Festival 2017, The Flying Horse & The Baum
Starting at 5pm Friday and running till the close of day on the Saturday in both establishments
Simon (The Baum) & Ben (The Flyer) have joined forces to bring the fine people of Rochdale a night of Gin & Juice. Over 50 gins available in both venues as well as a few surprises along the way

Due to previous years huge success, Wardle Christmas Market is back this November at Wardle Con Club! The bar will be open, its free entry

Mass to commemorate the Battle of Passchendaele, 7.30pm,St John’s Cathedral, Salford
Parishioners from across the Diocese of Salford will gather this week for a special service to be held on the centenary of the end of the battle of Passchendaele, 10th November.

Coffee Morning in aid of Hypermobility Syndrome, 10.30am - 12.00pm, Smithybridge Methodist Church
Cake and craft stall in aid of the Hypermobility Syndrome Association. The HMSA is the only charity offering both practical support and health and care information to people who have a hypermobility syndrome
Big Christmas Switch On, Switch On at 2.00pm, Gordon Rigg Garden Home & Leisure
Free Prosecco and nibbles from 1.45pm then the Christmas switch on at 2.00pm with special guest Coronation Street Soap Star Jack P. Shepherd aka 'David Platt' doing the honours of switching on the Christmas lights and the chance for a meet and greet.

The market will take place every second Sunday of the month. Featuring:

Springfield Park Model Train Rides, 12.00noon - 3.00pm, Springfield Park
On most Sunday afternoons weather permitting, the society now operates a passenger service all through the year and the public are more than welcome to visit our track in Springfield Park.
Royal British Legion Concert on Remembrance Sunday, 12noon - 8:00pm, Empire Rochdale
Empire & Royal British Legion - Free Concert on Remembrance Sunday: The Suburban Swing Orchestra; New Identity Band; The Vinyl Countdown; Hosted by: Dave Sweetmore; There will also be free tea and coffee plus a slice of cake! As well as fresh homemade pie (on sale thanks to AM to PM catering), a Royal British Legion merchandise stall and collection tins for your kind donations which will be placed around the venue.
Bards of the Baum Folk 'n' Poetry Night, 7.30pm, The Baum
Those 'Bard from the Baum' meet for a folk'n'poetry night upstairs at The Baum on the second Sunday in the month. Hosted by Robin Parker and Eileen Earnshaw.
